Good Afternoon Guys! I hope you enjoyed making your Sharpie Mugs! Sorry that post was late. I thought I had hit schedule, but I guess I didn’t! 😦
We’ve all heard that it’s important to manage out time responsibly. But why is it so important that countless books and courses have been written on it? Because time is NOT an unlimited resource!
We only have so many hours, days, weeks, months and years on this earth! So why not use them to their fullest! Why waste them doing things that don’t matter to our happiness?
I’ve recently become very interested in using my time to the fullest without burning myself out! I’ve been gobbling up everything I can on the topic, books, blogs, podcasts, articles in magazines, anything!
I’ve learned a lot and still feel like I could learn more too. I’ve been doing a time log over the last few days to find areas in my life that I can make small tweaks to. Areas where I can be more efficient so I have more time to spend with my husband and my children!
This time log has really made me think about where I’m using my time wisely and where I’m wasting time. The first book I read on time management was What the Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast by Laura Vanderkam. It’s an amazing book that I seriously recommend.
She also has several other books on time management that I’m looking forward to reading next. I have learned so much about myself just from keeping track of what I do and for how long I do it each day.
I’m only a couple days into my time tracking and I already see there are some areas that I need to change if I want to be able to reach my goals.
I’m a work in progress just like you. I’m about to turn 30 and working on bettering myself is becoming increasingly important. I don’t want to be in the same place I was in my 20’s.
Are you ready to make a change in your life? Do you want to be a better manager of your time? Stay tuned for my first Time Management Email Course! I’ll be releasing the detail next week!
