Recipe of The Week- Chicken Stir-Fry

Hey guys! This week has been full of excitement for me! I’m really seeing some of my goals take shape and meeting them left and right!

I hope you have also been working on your goals. Like I’ve said before they help us move forward instead of feeling stuck or like we’re in a rut.

This week for the recipe of the week we are looking at Chicken Stir-Fry! This is another really easy, quick recipe. It’s also super healthy.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 pound boneless skinless chicken

1 bunch broccoli

Shredded carrots

1 green bell pepper

1/2 yellow onion

Salt and pepper

Teriyaki sauce

Here’s how you’ll make it:

Step 1: Put a little teriyaki sauce and a tablespoon of butter in a wok or large skillet. Chop your broccoli, green bell pepper and half yellow onion. Put all the veggies in the pan. Sauté them over medium heat.

Step 2: While your vegetables are sautéing, cut your chicken into about 1 inch cubes.

Step 3: Once the onions are clear and the other vegetables have softened, add the chicken to the vegetable with more teriyaki sauce.

Step 4: Allow all the ingredients to cook together until the chicken is done.

Step 5: Serve over rice. Salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!

This recipe takes about 30 minutes to prep and complete! You can also add hot sauce if you’re in to spicy foods.

I hope you’ll join me Monday for some more information about Crochet4LifeCrafts! Have a great weekend!

  1. That sounds really good! I wonder if there are any other sauces that would work with it as I get tired of the teriyaki flavor after just a few bites. 😛 any ideas?
